Colony Mentoring Services
TAS Type of Program: One to One, GroupLocation: Hobart
We offer one on one mentoring (and sometimes group mentoring) to young people between 12 and 25 yrs who are at risk of not participating in school, education, family or community. With their existing case-worker the youth determines what support they would like from a mentor and this can range from clear concrete goals to having fun and going out to do activities like fishing or bush walking. Colony Mentoring Services is a voluntary program and our mentors and mentees are matched by criteria such as their location, their personalities and their interests. [ more info... ]

COMPASS Youth Mentoring Program

COMPASS seeks to provide safe mentoring support for young people who are struggling at school, having difficulty fitting in socially, or are experiencing unwanted distractions and conflict. COMPASS is part of an early intervention program into youth homelessness. Whitelion Mentoring Tasmania

Whitelion is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1999 by former AFL player and author Glenn Manton and Whitelion CEO Mark Watt. Whitelion works with young people in the juvenile justice and child protection systems, both during and after their statutory orders.
