The Office for Youth is implementing the Mentoring and Capacity Building Initiative as an action strategy of the key Victorian Government policy document 'A Fairer Victoria'. Victoria is the first state in Australia to have comprehensive policy for mentoring young people 'Leading the Way- the Victorian Government's Strategy for Mentoring Young People 2005-2008 and includes 3 components: Building Mentoring, Community Capacity Building and Tools for Better Mentoring.
